About Me

Hey! I’m currently a Research Assistant at the Machine and Language Learning (MALL) Lab in the Department of Computational and Data Sciences (CDS) at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. I am very fortunate to be advised by Dr. Partha Talukdar.

My interests broadly include Applied Machine Learning, with a specific inclination towards Natural Language Processing using Knowledge Graphs. I am fascinated by its power of capturing human language and the ability to decipher the existing latent emotions and relationships.

I earned my Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) Degree in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) in 2017, where I was named as the Best Graduating Student by TCS.
In the past, I have been the Indian Academy of Sciences (IAS) Summer Research Fellow 2016 – where I worked with Dr. V. Kamakoti at the Reconfigurable and Intelligent Systems Engineering (RISE) Lab, Indian Institute of Technology – Madras (IIT-M), on using Machine Learning on Computer Networks to detect intentional bandwidth throttling by operators.

I was also a Google Summer of Code (GSoC) student in 2016, working on European MaRs Analog Station (ERAS) for Italian Mars Society (IMS), under Python Software Foundation (PSF). I interned at Snapdeal in 2015 and was part of the Google Student Ambassador (GSA) class of 2014.
